Drogba pulled one back, but it may just be a consolation. Fellow Ivory Coast player Gervinho ran 60 yards with the ball, put the ball into Toure Yaya, who then delivered an inch-perfect cross for the Chelsea forward to head home for a goal. The Brazil defense claim offside, but Drogba timed his run perfectly and had three Brazilian defenders playing him onside.
The game ended with Brazil winning the match having a final score of 3-1 against Ivory Coast. Fabiano was instrumental in this win by Brazil as he scored two successful goals out of the three scored by them. Congratulations Brazil! You have proven once again that you were still the champions of the World Cup.
Man of the Match: Luis Fabiano

The striker had offered little in this tournament until his 25th-minute thunderbolt put Brazil on their way. There may have been more than a hint of handball about his second but he was the matchwinner nonetheless.
KAKA gets RED card
A lot of things can be said in about this match, it was not a fairly good night for the referees missing some important calls and making wrong ones. players were already getting at each other right from the get go and in the later part of the match, some would loose their heads and tempers explode as a brawl almost started a few minutes after Drogba’s goal. Fadel Keita and Kaka got on each other which resulted on a yellow card booking on Kaka when He unnecessarily pushed Keita while He was Picking up the ball. just a few moments later tempers would Flare when Keita would get in the path of Kaka, and what seems to be a little shrug from Kaka, Keite took advantage and acted on it a little making it look like Kaka hitting him in the Face, the referee would then book Kaka his second Yellow card that would mean He gets a Red Card and be ejected out of the game. a lot of Brazilian Players were very disappointed and really showing their anger to the Referees after the call. Luis Fabiano and Robinho lost their cool as they kept ignoring play and getting on the referee.
